All-in-one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My company purchased three HP All-in-one computers about six months ago, HP 22-c0016 3LA83AA#ABA. One of them performs perfectly, no lagging decent speed, etc. The other two are so slow that it makes it difficult to work. I know they're not supposed to be the fastest computers in the world, but they are mainly for running a software program that is specific to our business. One of the slow computers has QuickBooks as well, otherwise they all have the exact same programs installed. We use Microsoft Office with One Drive so that we can share documents and use the web for ordering parts online or browsing when we're bored. The program that we use for our business does require that one computer always be on and is set up as a server. Our fastest computer has this server. I have no idea why one computer works so much better. They are all the same model, were ordered at the same time and the same software was installed on all. Is there anything I can check? I have actually begun working on the other secretary's computer when she isn't here because hers is so much faster than mine.

@BeatriceD Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing slow performance issue.

I have a few steps to identify and resolve the issue:

Common causes of slow system performance:

  • Not enough free disk space or disk errors.

  • Applications that require a lot of system resources.

  • Too many tasks running at the same time.

  • Nonessential graphic features.

  • Not enough memory.

  • Overheating due to intensive graphic applications or dust in vents.

  • Running multiple instances of anti-virus software.

Turning off nonessential graphical features to improve system performance

Graphical features and programs can use a lot of system resources.

Turning off these features can improve system performance.

Hello, I appreciate the info, but I can't get any of the links to work. The first one says that

"Microsoft Easy Fix solutions have been discontinued" and the other two links show error 405 when I click on them.

@BeatriceD

I understand your concerns.

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

  1. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

  1. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  2. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  3. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Have a nice day!!
