I am wanting to replace my Hard drive boot with a solid state drive. last time i tried it on a store bought pc computer wouldn't work without the hardware that came with pc originally.

The same size drive (1TB) can be easily cloned. Samsung provides a free data migration software for their drives.

I have a flash drive with the hp recovery files neccasrry for setup of a virgin drive. I just wanted to know if i can remove the hard drive and install a ssd and run the software to setup the ssd? sorry it's late for me not thinking straight.
