can not get into bios on a Model h8-1280t SN [Personal Information Removed] PI QC461AV#ABA

Pavilion hpe QC461AV#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can't seem to get into Bios.  I have a failed or failing SCSI drive on chan 12 and the alarm keeps going of constantly.  Before I replace it,  I want to make sure what is actually going on.  I have tried the esc, f1,f2,f9 and f10  with no luck I tried the other ones and nothing.  Some suggest I reload the Bios but can seem to find a copy. I currently have ver 7.06 but I seen info the show ver 7.15 is the last one.   Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bill

@wmfi,

Last part first: Your HP h8-1280t is circa 1012, had WIN 7, and you upgraded to WIN 10.  You CAN NOT change the BIOS, as it is linked to the original WIN 7.

As soon as you power on, start pressing f10 repeatedly.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

I've tried the F-10  over and over with different kyds and no change.  Tried it with F-1, F-2, F-9 and esc.  it just won't let me into the bios.   Any way to correct the link from win 7
