can't remove slot cover to fit card

I want to place an extra grafic card in the PCIe expres port. But I can't remove the slot cover to fit card. But the plate seems solded. 

How can i remove the  plate? Serial number is [personal info removed]

How do I safely remove a blanking plate from my chassis

Tack Welded or stamped into the chassis

These can usually be identified by cross-shaped holes situated centrally on the plate and are either tack welded in place or are have a stamped outline cutting into the chassis. Using a rigid Phillips screwdriver (fig.5) to fill the crosshead hole in the plate and using a snapping back and forth motion will let you snap the welds/stamping and then wiggle the plate left and right by about 45° until you can remove it fully from the system. (Doing this can mean moving the plate back and forth anywhere from 3 to 7 times before it comes loose. You may also need a pair of pliers to hold the plate, watch out for any sharp edges left by snapping the plate out of the chassis.)
