Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can the existing CD/DVD writer be replace by a Blu-ray writer.  And if it is possible, what size should be used?

This is your product: click here to verify, you should look for a 9.5mm Slim slot bluray drive, as that should fit it just fine, however, I must let you know as an upgrade/custom enthusiast I personally love the idea of upgrading the device as well, However, HP recommends that you go easy on it as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion.
