i am currently using an intel pentium e2180 and i have an e8400 i want to install but whenever i do i get a micro code error which i cant figure out how to ix, and the little bit that does function is limited to being less powerful

I am not a HP employee.

 

It is not possible to assist without knowing the HP product.

 

The processor upgrade may not be compatible or you may need a BIOS update to run the new processor.
