pavilion 590-p0069
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I changed the cpu form my pavilion with a Ryzen 3 2200g. The problem is that the screws from the heatsink that comes with the Ryzen cpu don't match the holes in the sunflower mother board. I left the original heatsink, but it's not as efficient I think, I'm afraid of overheating issues. Anyone has a solution or can direct me to a compatible heatsink?

Thanks in advance.

@Bennyace,

Your original A10-9700 uses the same factory installed heatsink as the following:

The 3-2200g is rated 45-65W or the 5-2400g is also rated 45-65W.

Again, all use the same heatsink part number.

thanks for the reply. I'm no expert at all. So what you are saying is that I don't need to use the heatsink that came with the processor. Keeping the oridinal one is fine?

Thanks again
