Product: LG dvd external drive
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

can't  get to work  on new b pc. saying missing ba special program to read dvd in the pc. i just want play movies if could burn dvd it will be a plus . can not find original disc set for this drive . already tried looking on the internet

It is really clear what the abbreviated "ba special program" means.  Really need a better explanation.

However, on a general note Windows 10 does not have a native DVD player software like the older versions did.  Most external DVD drives come with additional software, especially if it claims to support Windows 10.  If no software came with the drive, you can use VLC, which is free.

If the DVD drive can write, then you will need extra software for that.  If you post the model number of the LG DVD external drive, then I can verify if it can write and recommend some free or pay software to write DVD's.
