Hi,

I am facing an issue with my HP 350 Bluetooth Compact Multi-Device. Fn+left/right arrows are not working for getting to beginning/end of line, eventhough it is working correctly using my notebook's keyboard. Other combinations (e.g. fn+f1) are working as expected.

I noticed there is already a thread with the same issue, but no solution was provided (Link).

Could you please help me to resolve this issue?

Best Regards,

Kate

@kate_skot, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP 350 Bluetooth Compact Multi-Device Keyboard Issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

When the Fn+left/right arrow keys are not functioning as expected on your HP 350 Bluetooth Compact Multi-Device keyboard, there are a few steps you can follow to try to resolve the issue:

Steps to Resolve:

Check Bluetooth Connectivity:

  • Ensure that the keyboard is properly connected to your device via Bluetooth. Sometimes a quick disconnect and reconnect can resolve minor keyboard issues.

Update Keyboard Drivers:

  • Make sure that your device's drivers are up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Support Assistant or manually on HP's official website HP Support.

Test on Another Device:

  • Try connecting the keyboard to another device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the keyboard itself or with the device it's connected to.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • If your keyboard has a reset button, use it to perform a hard reset. Alternatively, you can disconnect the keyboard, turn it off, wait a few moments, and then turn it back on.

Battery Check:

  • Ensure that the keyboard's battery is sufficiently charged, as low battery levels can sometimes cause functionality issues.

Inspect Keyboard Settings:

  • Check your device’s keyboard settings to ensure that the shortcut functions are enabled. You may find these settings under the keyboard preferences in your control panel or settings app.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
