is there any way to make a gtx 780 work on this p7-1110 motherboard

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, none that I know of.

 

Your PC has BIOS that only goes up to v7.16 and to run a graphics card beyond the Nvidia GT(X) 6xx series, your PC needs to have a BIOS with a revision of 8.xx or higher.

 

So, you will need to install an older Nvidia GTX 6xx card for it to work.

 

You can look at this video where someone got a similar card to work in the Cupertino motherboard, but I don't think this procedure works for your model, and I think every time you fire up the PC, you have to go through this ritual.

 

Definitely not worth it, IMHO.
