Hi @Cheetocat,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand how frustrating it can be when your HP 510 Wireless Keyboard (Model TPA-P005K) doesn’t connect to your HP OmniDesk Desktop M03. That moment when you're ready to type and nothing responds, it’s disruptive and confusing.

Let’s walk through the steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue.

Troubleshooting for Wireless Keyboard Connection Issues

You can follow HP’s full guide here:
👉 HP PCs - Wireless keyboard troubleshooting | HP® Support

1. Check the USB Wireless Receiver

  • Ensure the USB receiver (dongle) is securely plugged into a working USB port on your HP OmniDesk.
  • Try different USB ports, preferably on the back of the desktop.

2. Replace Batteries

  • Remove and replace the batteries in the keyboard with fresh AA alkaline batteries.
  • Ensure they are inserted correctly with proper polarity.

3. Re-Pair the Keyboard

4. Check for Interference

  • Keep the keyboard within 1 meter (3 feet) of the receiver.
  • Remove any metal objects or other wireless devices that may interfere.

5. Update Drivers

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
