• Try different USB ports, preferably on the back of the desktop.

2. Replace Batteries

• Remove and replace the batteries in the keyboard with fresh AA alkaline batteries.
• Ensure they are inserted correctly with proper polarity.

3. Re-Pair the Keyboard

• If your keyboard uses HP’s Link-5 technology, you may need to re-pair it: 
  • Download the HP Wireless (Link-5) Keyboard Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
  • Open the app and follow the instructions to pair the keyboard.

4. Check for Interference

• Keep the keyboard within 1 meter (3 feet) of the receiver.
• Remove any metal objects or other wireless devices that may interfere.
