I just purchased a hp elite mini 805 g8

I can't plug in the hdmi cable in

Do I need a newer style hdmi cable

The HDMI cable has not changed, except perhaps for the mini version.

Here is a picture of the rear of the HP Elite Mini 805 G8

The DisplayPort outputs are indicated as #7.  #9, as shown is a port that can be changed and is shown here as HDMI.  How does this compare to the rear of your PC?

I did some research and discovered this model does Not have any HDMI Ports.
