Your computer: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04453446

Scroll-down to the "Power Supply" section, and click to "expand" that section.

Any replacement power-supply would have to match or exceed those requirements.

It would be best to take your tower to a computer-store, so that they can recommend and install a compatible unit -- you do not have to purchase a HP-branded power-supply.

 P.S. Is the warranty still valid?  If so, contact HP to get them to replace it with a Genuine HP Spare Part.

Why do you have a need to " replace power supply or upgrade power supply ?? "

If it is working as it should, there is no need to do that, unless you are considering an upgrade of the video solution your PC was delivered with.

You desktop PC was delivered with a 460W PSU.

That is more capacity than most pre-built desktop PCs are delivered with.

Most likely, that's either a power-supply problem or a motherboard problem.

Swapping-in a different power-supply will be much easier than swapping-in a different motherboard.

Have you "disabled" the wireless networking adapter?

Does Windows show a list of available wireless networks?

What error-message do you get when you try to connect to one of those networks?

The current power-supply has different connectors:

* SATA disk-drive,

* SATA CD/DVD drive,

* 4-pin wire connecting on the motherboard near the processor,

* large "main" connector to the motherboard,

* maybe, a 4-pin or 6-pin connector to an add-in graphics adapter card,

* et cetera.

It would be best to take your tower to a computer store, and have them select a compatible power-supply, sell it to you, and have them connect it, to prove that it works.

OK.

On a day when your PC will start, perform some hardware testing as described on the following HP hardware troubleshooting web page. https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-700-400-desktop-pc-series/7161708/model/7269347/documen...

It is important that you test the hardware before spending any money on hardware.
