hp slimline desktop - 270-p029il
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My SSD is  WD GREEN M.2 SATA 128GB. I have plugged it into the M.2 SSD slot but it is not detected anywhere. My BIOS is F.45, and I have tried searching the SSD in the BIOS Settings, Device Manager, Disk Management and File Explorer but to no avail. I have tried to change to IDE but I am not able to locate it in the BIOS as the settings is limited.

Please help. Really appreciate it.

Hi:

Your PC's Lubin motherboard's M.2 slot only supports NVMe M.2 SSD's not SATA.

Here is a discussion where a forum member had the same issue as you and replaced the SATA SSD with a NVMe SSD, and it worked just fine.
