i am at the limit for my ram at 6gb,but can i upgrade the clock speed

i have a hp pavilion dv6-6c29wm and from what i have read it can only handle 6gb of ram,wich is what i have but can i change the clock speed using faster ram,im new to this so i hope i got the wording right,also,can i upgrade the ram or is 6gb all it will handle
