ENVY Desktop - 750-415

Greeting all

I installed new processor on my ENVY Desktop - 750-415.
New CPU pc won't turn on, Fans spin a second and then turn off again and again. I updated BIOS to last version but still giving the same issue.

Any one could guide me please

It can only run three Skylake 6th gen core processors. 

 

A 7th or 8th gen core processor will not work.

Btw, when I installed old cpu back everything goes normal.
Which clear for me that it is new cpu issue

I checked that already, I thought they mentioned 6th gen cores due to the production date for the pc.

Is that clear no way to run 8th generation?

You're very welcome.

 

No way a 7h or 8th gen core processor will work in a PC with a Skylake chipset.

 

The best you can do is the i7-6700.
