HI All,

I have a HP OMEN Obelisk. My internal fan will not power down. Does anyone know if there are settings somewhere for that, other than doing a hard shutdown?

 

Also, my internal led lights stay on after my computer shuts down. I always have to do a hard shutdown. Any thoughts?

boring, I found the page here:

OMEN by HP Obelisk - 875-1019 

but apart from that impossible to have the complete page with the updates
But this one is equivalent

Try the updates offered
If it's too complicated to use HPSA:

HP Support Assistant | HP® Official Site

do not update bios yet
If you have devices connected by usb or other disconnect everything, leave only keyboard / mouse and screen, to test

what is the product number?
No, if the computer does not shut down properly, you have a problem
You should not be forced to turn it off with the button.
If you wait, will it come to a complete stop?

Fan: It will not shut down if I wait. I tried waiting 1 hour.
