Here are my PC specs and am looking to upgrade Ram and the Graphics card. In 202 I was told the GTX 1060 6G card would work in this board and also with only 2 ram slots what would be the best Ram that would work with this board to get grade it that would be compatible;e with it?

@ThomasDragon,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to upgrade the graphics card and the memory on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the specifications of your computer and the maximum supported memory on the computer is 16GB.

There is one PCI Express x16 (Gen 3.0) slot available on the motherboard and you can install any graphics card which uses this interface.

NOTE: You may also need to upgrade the power supply on the computer-based on the power requirement of the new graphics card you install on the computer.

Below is the link for the motherboard specifications.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Just to add I was told the 1060 could be used on my power supply without issues.

I have a few more quick questions. For this make could I use ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB GDDR6 192-bit Gaming Graphics Card, Super Compact? Just with a 6 pin to 8 pin Adapter? and how I could upgrade to 16 gig Ram ? The best 2 Rams sticks that could work with this?

Thank you for posting back.

To get the answer to this question, you could change the configuration at your own discretion as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.

Hope this help!

I appreciate that but it doesn't answer the question. It's out of warranty and will it work? I have enough power. Plus what would be the best Ram to upgrade within this 2 slot motherboard? I now have 12gig but would like to jump to 16 so what would be best to get?

You can try with Samsung or Kingston ram as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate. You could change the configuration at your own discretion as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.

I do appreciate your time but these are sounding like Copy and paste corporate answers. I am looking for answers for other PC builders that are not just for HP. I am new to building PC's and am planning my own build soon but want to upgrade my HP currently.
