HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-r014

I have a HP All-in-One 27-r0xx and lost the usb receiver for the keyboard and mouse.  Am I able to pair with a universal usb receiver or can I purchase a new HP usb receiver to pair with the keyboard and mouse?  I really like and am used to the keyboard and mouse and would like any suggestions or input on my options to get my keyboard and mouse working again.  Thank you!

Hi @mrsgps,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've lost the USB receiver for your HP All-in-One 27-r0xx keyboard and mouse, there are a few options you can consider.

  • Use a Universal USB Receiver: Some wireless keyboards and mice support universal USB receivers. These receivers are designed to work with multiple devices from different manufacturers. Check if your HP keyboard and mouse are compatible with universal receivers. If they are, you can purchase a universal USB receiver separately and pair it with your devices. However, keep in mind that not all devices support universal receivers, so this may not be an option.
  • Purchase a Replacement Set: If obtaining a replacement USB receiver proves challenging, you might consider purchasing a new set of wireless keyboard and mouse from HP that comes with a USB receiver. Ensure that the new set is compatible with your All-in-One model.
  • Check for Bluetooth Compatibility: Some HP keyboards and mice also support Bluetooth connectivity. If your All-in-One PC has Bluetooth capabilities, you may be able to pair the keyboard and mouse directly with the PC without using a USB receiver. Check the documentation for your keyboard and mouse to see if they support Bluetooth connectivity.

Remember to check the user manuals or documentation for your keyboard and mouse to understand the available connectivity options and any specific requirements for replacement USB receivers.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I attempted to use a universal usb receiver and that did not work. I am unable to locate a new or used 928512-001 keyboard kit. Also, the keyboard and mouse do not support bluetooth. I am at a loss of what to do.
