Solved!

memory upgrade question

HP Recommended
omen 25l gt12-0235se
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My PC comes with 2x8G HyperX DDR4 2933 XMP RGB HS memory, it has 2 extra memory slots,  I wonder if it's okay to add extra 2x16G DDR4 3200 or 3000 XMP RGB, or I should stay with 2X8G ?  it's hard to find ram that runs at 2933Mhz.

Thanks

Hello
do you need more memory, this is the first question to ask yourself, do not buy memory unnecessarily, because it is the fashion to have more than the others
Often 16 GB is sufficient

Add RAM

If you overload, you should know that with this type of computer, other users have encountered problems.
Either you need exactly the same hp modules
either you will need 100% compatible modules, at the risk that the usable frequency is not the right one

A bios update is not without risk!
Be aware that if you are offered to do so, it will be at your own risk, the computer may become unusable, think about it
