when i start my pc, make a noise from the power unit, but never start, just noise from fan

@mandillo,

1) Power down, remove power cord.  Press start button to drain PSU capacitors.

2) Remove each RAM module, and reseat only ONE module in the slot close to the CPU chip.

3) Attempt to reboot.

4) If that worked, perform # 1, and add the other modules ONE at a time. Go to step #3.   Repeat.

Your saying it never starts, you just hear the fan running?   Disconnect all external hardware.

1) Check the monitor that it is actually tuirned "ON", and the monitor power and video are plugged "IN".

2) plug-in mouse and keyboard if wired.

3) Open the side panel, and watch the CPU fan as you attempt to power "ON".

When i push the power botton, the display doesnt show anything, but the cpu fan and the power unit fan start to run so fast.

The PC never start.

 

So, could be that is a hardware problem, like motherboard o Hard Disk?
