Product: pavilion wave desktop model 600-a014
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bougth a sabrent rocket m.2 nvme (https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Rocket-Internal-Performance-SB-ROCKET-1TB/dp/B07LGF54XR/ref=sr_1_2?dc...) drive seeing that this motherboard had a key M m.w socket

Expansion Slots:
  • One M.2 socket 1, key A
  • One WLAN LED header
  • One M.2 socket 3, key M

the slot is definetly not what I was expecting. 20200622_212636.jpg

the drive doesn't fit and it looks more like it'd need to be one of these drives :

does anyone know what type of nvme ssd will fit in this slot?

Wrong M.2 socket.  That is Key A, a WI-FI card slot.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Are you sure? The wifi card was slotted into the other m.2 slot on the back of the motherboard and it connected to wifi fine before I opened it to install the new nvme drive.
