HP Slim Desktop - S01-pF1048xt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was planning to upgrade the hard drive on the HP slim desktop S01-PF104Ixt. To do this, I first had to remove the dvd drive which has 2 cables going into it. While trying to remove one of the two cables, it appears that I have damaged the pins on the HP ODD DVD+/-RW (P/N 849055-6C5) . The small cable on the left was a bugger to remove from the drive and now I cannot insert it back into the drive. While I cannot see any pins in the cable, I may have bent a pin or two on the drive itself. I have ordered a new drive but was thinking of replacing the 2 cables too which was the cause of the problem in the first place.

Can someone tell me what are the two cables called so that I can buy one ?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks I had watched the videos on YouTube and worked out that the cable on the left is the SATA data cable and the one on the right is the SATA power cable. However, I cannot find these cables sold separately. What I find on ebay is a single attachment for the optical drive rather than separate ones as in computer. So I guess what I need is the HP part numbers for the cables.

Thanks a lot. It is exactly what is needed.

Unfortunately, the item pictured is sold out on ebay. I was not able to find any cable like this one.
