@llocalboy07,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

I would like to assist you.

What model power supply (part/SKU number) did you order?

Kind Regards,

@llocalboy07,

All right, looks like you paid this (excluding S/H and tax):

HP PartSurfer says it is in stock, but your experience suggests it is on backorder.

If I were you, I would cancel the HP order, and purchase the L04618-800 via an eBay Seller.  Half of my upgraded HP legacy desktops are powered through eBay-acquired power supplies: HP L04618-800 for sale | eBay.

You would think that cancelling an HP order -especially if the item hasn't been shipped yet, would/should be easy.  You can try, or you can wait.  Your choice. But now you know what I would do.  You shouldn't have to wait three weeks (months?) for an item that is claimed to be "in stock".

My penny's worth.

Kind Regards,
