I'm glad you were able to get an answer! I purchased the hp 34-c1070xt (which is considered to be the c1000 even though the components are not the same) I attempted to get the information on my product page for upgrading the 16 gb to 32. Could not find the information specifically for myodel because it was ties to an 11th gen vs the newly bundles 12th gen. I spent most of the day trying to reach tech support only for them to tell my that my computer was a ddr4 vs ddr5 (obviously looking at the outdated info on the website that I had already exhausted) I was passed to the next and to the next each time they told me that the ram was not upgradable. I gave up! These people do not seem to know anything about the products and did not help at all! I finally packaged the computer up and sent it back and ordered the customizable model and added the ram. To add insult to injury I paid the $250 "restocking fee". I really should have just gone back to a MAC.
What happened to HP??? Everything is outsourced and the "techs" seem to not know anything about the hp products at all! Why
Why does HP bundle a new model and not update it in there system according to the specs????
I am so disappointed and feel cheated especially with the restock fee. The hp videos speak to the upgrading of the all in one and yet the techs seem to be unaware and cannot answer any questions.
