Unfortunately the Compaq Presario SR5505F is too many generations behind the current systems. There will be driver issues.

The issue is not about Microsoft's upgrade program. Its all about the availability of Windows 10 drivers for the chipset and other motherboard components.

Update: 20/11/2019: Here is an AMD forum thread with members struggling to get Windows 10 to work with the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE NForce 430 chipset that your Presario desktop PC has.

 

The problem is that the motherboard's chipset and the processor are so far behind current PCs on the market. The PC is from 2008.  Manufacturers stop providing new OS drivers for PCs generally after about four to five years. 

 

It is, if you are considering using Windows 10, time to  consider upgrading to something more current.

 

There are refurbished PCs at affordable prices available at Amazon.com, NewEgg.com and other online vendors
