I'm moving house. Can I transport my desktop computer lying flat in my car? The journey will take 3 days.

Hi @artpepper88

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can transport your HP Desktop PC lying flat in your car, but there are a few precautions you should take to ensure it remains safe during the journey:

  1. Secure the Computer: Make sure the desktop is securely placed to prevent it from sliding or moving around. Use padding like bubble wrap or blankets to cushion it.
  2. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Keep the computer in a part of the car where it won't be exposed to extreme temperatures, as this can damage internal components.
  3. Handle with Care: Be gentle when loading and unloading the computer to avoid any physical damage.

By following these steps, your desktop should arrive safely at your new home.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
