it says I have SOCKET LGA 1151 - I notice that the Intel web page says that that Socket can go higher than the i7-7700T I have installed, Will my HP PAvilion all-in-one support that? also, running the windows tools I saw from another thread - it seems I can go higher than the 16gb that the HP pages says - (e.g. can go up to 32gb) -
can I go up to 32gb?
can I upgrade to a higher level of i7 or even an i9 if it fits the socket?

Your PC's motherboard (Klingon-UF) has support for Kaby Lake processors.
None of the processors supported go beyond Core i7. Core i9 upgrades are not viable.
The motherboard does have reports of supporting up to 32 GB of compatible memory.

Thank you for the response- so if I understand correctly - I could go higher cpu as long as:
1) the socket is the same
and
2) it stays within the I7 series - Already have an i7-7700T want to go higher
Do I have the correct?
Thanks

Socket 1151 has two versions. You have version 1 - Kaby Lake.
i9 is not in socket version 1. He is in the second version of Coffee Lake and Coffee Lake Refresh.
Сomplete lists for version 1 and version 2 - [content removed]

No.
Unless the release notes in a new BIOS state that new processors have been added to the compatibility list, you already have the most powerful compatible processor installed.
Thanks
