The most common processor listed with your HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f Desktop PC (BV535AA), would be the Phenom II X6 1045T (6-Cores, 6-Threads, 2.70GHz up to 3.20 GHz), but there are alternative 95-watt AM3-socket processors that also would be compatible:
