It should be since HP has W10 drivers for your PC on the support page.

To get the free upgrade from W8.1>W10, make a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Microsoft media creation tool from the link below.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

After the installation media is created, do not boot from it.

 

Instead, open the flash drive in Windows explorer and double click to run the Setup application you see in the list of files to begin the upgrade process.

 

You have 10 days to go back to W8.1 in case things don't work correctly as long as you don't delete any of the upgrade files or the Windows.old folder.

 

Go back to Windows 8.1 - Microsoft Support
