Phoenix envy 850se i7-5960X processor extreme edition
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I need to know if the upgrade will work on Win7 and with our processor/mother board before buying the expensive memory sticks.

Hi,

I believe this is the computer you are talking about

850-065se

as you did not specify the complete model name.

Now if we look at the spec sheet we see that the motherboard supports up to 64GB of RAM

Windows 7 professional supports up to 192GB of RAM

So there should be no problem with the upgrade.

Hope it helps,

The above info is correct and the upgrade will work.

M0K57AV  =     HP ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 850-065se CTO

Please let me know if you need any further help.

All the best,

I did get the memory G.Skill TridentZ series 64GB (4x16) 288 pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) intel X99 platform desktop memory model F4-3200C16Q-64GTZSW. It works fine and I ran the windows memory  diagnostics and it found no problems. The issue now is there isn't anywhere that shows it changed to 64MB. I followed a couple ways to be sure it changed no luck the system information file still shows 32MB? They don't give that memory away just under $1,000. I need to know if that memory is the cause or it won't show up anywhere as 64MB?
