Trying to add video card need 6 pin Molex plug for card. Is there a way to do this without buying new PSU? SATA is the only plug available. There is a 4 pin Molex to the MoBo as well as the 24 pin Molex ATX connector. Maybe one of those can be split?

You need to clarify terms. Molex is a 4 pin power plug. The 6 pin power plug is called PCIE power plug, configuration 2 rows, 3 pins. Your circa 2016 computer has a standard ATX 300W PSU, and as you have found, no 6 pin PCIE power plug. (PS - PCIE power plugs are usually 6+2 pins).
The presence of a 6 pin plug means you need to upgrade the PSU. So, what card did you get? Then I can make a recommendation ! 🤔
