what type of mouse do i buy to replace the wireless one ( no dongle ) that came with my pc?

not a problem as such, just cant use the mouse provided for gaming ( too slippery ) so need a gaming mouse . I assume the mouse dongle is built in as I cant see one, and I don't want to use a usb port up just for a mouse if it already has a receiver built in.

The dongle that comes with the HP mouse is not universal.  Therefore, it won't work with any other mouse, including another HP mouse.  You will have to buy a new mouse and dongle.
