@Taureo2000 , welcome to the Community.
According to the specifications that I found for your computer, there is no M.2 socket on the motherboard. This means that you will have to use a standard SSD. Here is one that should work for you: https://www.newegg.com/samsung-1tb-870-evo-series/p/N82E16820147793
You will need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter to install the SSD in the drive bay: https://www.newegg.com/p/1W8-010Y-00001?Description=2.5%20to%203.5%20adapter%20ssd&cm_re=2.5_to%203....
You may not need all of the cables in the kit, but it shows you which SATA data cables are available.
You can add it as a second drive for storage or replace the HDD as the boot drive. Here is a HP Knowledge Base article to help you transition from the HDD to the SSD: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Upgrading-Desktop-or-Laptop-to-a-SSD/ta-p/73048...
You will have to buy a SATA data cable to connect it. There should be a SATA power connector on your power supply unit (PSU).
