HP Pavilion Desktop PC TP01-2000i (1K4B7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

On my brand-new Pavilion Desktop, it has two drives: one (C:/) has everything on it, with gobs of GB still blank, and a VERY large second drive (D:/), totally empty, and labelled as DATA. The system, as received, puts all entered data onto the C:/ drive.  What is the proper use/intention of this duality? Is it a Windows 11 thing?

Hi

No, this has been around for quite a long time.
Only it is not optimized for an uninformed user.
Because he will have to use it manually, in order to place data there
See my answer here, just change folder location
