Perhaps the BIOS update will fix that.

I have a dc7800 running the latest BIOS v1.35 and I can boot a W10 USB installation flash drive with no problem.

In the old days, I used CD's or DVD's to install Windows XP, Vista and W7 on the PC but with W10, I used a USB flash drive.

One other thing that BIOS v1.35 will do is to add an AHCI drive controller setting in the BIOS which allowed me to switch from RAID to AHCI for single drives.
