Hello community. I want to add a second monitor to my desktop computer. My laptop has a VGA input that I was going to use so I can use my laptop as my second monitor. I currently have a monitor that I am using with a VGA cord. I am trying to figure out if I can use a VGA to HDMI adapter cord with my laptop so I can have 2 screens or if I need to look into a VGA cord splitter. I essentially want to know my desktop has the capability to having a VGA monitor and HDMI monitor connected at the same time. Please let me know.

Sorry NO you can't. Its VGA port is for video OUT only,  connect 2 out sources together won't give you anything

Regards.
