Hi,

I would run HP Diagnostics to check hardware. You have a slow platter HDD and a 16 GB M.2 SSD which may be an Optane setup. In any event your PC is using this small drive as a boot drive plus a scratch drive for enhancing system responsiveness.

I suspect the 16 GB M.2 SSD may have failed.

Start the PC, tap "ESC", select "F2", then run system tests.

You may need to replace this drive. You have a Socket 3 2280 expansion slot. Dump the 16 GB SSD. Buy a 500 GB or 1 TB 2280 NVME drive instead. Install the operating system on this new drive. No reason to use a 16 GB drive on your PC.

Regards
