All in One Desktop; abrupt shut down

I am not a HP employee.


It appears you have a hardware problem if the PC will not Power On Self Test or run Windows. Check all connections. Check status on the external power supply.


Possible causes:


1. Power supply

2. Components connected to the motherboard (MB) or the motherboard.

3. Peripheral device connected to the PC, only use a mouse and try all USB ports. Try starting the PC with nothing connected to see what happens.


Contact HP Support if in warranty (Link) or have a local PC tech diagnose the cause.
