Hi @Anantyash,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It's unusual for Windows 10 to delete apps automatically upon restart. There are several potential reasons for this issue, and I'll provide some troubleshooting steps to help you identify and resolve the problem.
Check for Malware or Viruses: Run a full antivirus scan on your computer to ensure that it is not infected with malware or viruses. Malicious software can sometimes cause unexpected behavior.
Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 10 operating system is up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated software can lead to issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
User Account Corruption: It's possible that your user profile is corrupted. Create a new user account and check if the issue persists. If the problem goes away with a new account, you may need to transfer your files and settings to the new account.
Check Disk for Errors: Run a disk check to ensure that your hard drive is not experiencing errors. Open a Command Prompt with administrative privileges and type the following command:
chkdsk /f
You may need to restart your computer to allow the tool to check and fix disk errors.
Windows System File Checker (SFC): Run the System File Checker utility to scan and repair corrupted system files. Open a Command Prompt with administrative privileges and type:
sfc /scannow
Restart your computer after the scan is complete.
Check Event Viewer: Look for any error messages in the Event Viewer that might provide more details about what is happening. You can access the Event Viewer by typing "Event Viewer" in the Windows search bar.
Restore to a Previous State: If the issue started recently, you can try restoring your system to a previous state using System Restore. Type "Create a restore point" in the Windows search bar and follow the instructions.
Reinstall Windows 10: If none of the above solutions work, you may consider reinstalling Windows 10. Before doing this, make sure to back up your important data.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
