BIOS Recovery

HP Recommended
HP All-In-One 23-r010

I ran a recommended HP update this morning.

I keep getting the same information over and over. I get 6 long beeps, then a blue screen with white writing that says:

A System BIOS Recovery has occurred

BIOS Recovery (500)

Enter-Continue Startup

I have no way of getting out of this.

Please advise. Thx

Hi,

Have you tried all steps to recover the BIOS using info at this HP site (Link)? Older HP PCs don't support flashing the BIOS using USB so this specific step may not help in your situation. Your PC was released for sale in 2015.

You might have to contact HP Support (Link) for factory service if you cannot recover the BIOS.

A six beep BIOS error code can be either: a bad BIOS boot block or a graphics problem. This may require replacing the system board because you have integrated graphics.

Regards
