i installed updates yesterday on my computer. This morning I checked the computer and it's a black screen. I can hear it running and the power light it on. I tried turning it off and on then I hear 2 lound long beeps followed by 2 loud short beeps, it did this pattern 5 times. Still nothing. So I unplugged everything from the computer and held the power button for 10 to 15 seconds and plugged the power cord back in and restarted the computer. I still get a black screen with beeps.

Hi @IsabelN

Welcome to the HP Forum.

A 2:2 Power On Self Test error code suggests your PC's BIOS is corrupted.

Many folks have been having this issue with certain All In One HP PCs. A faulty BIOS update provided by Windows Update has been causing the problem.

Please provide a specific HP Product Number for assistance.
