Hi,
I updated the OS last weekend. After restart, I had the HP screen asking me to repair. The repair wasn't successful
I then went into the BIOS and selected restore bios. Now Ican only access the Hardware diagnostic UEFI screen. The recovery drive is not recognized, but the 2TB drive is. I tried the following steps.
Removed the battery, unplugged the battery and the CMOS battery,
Held the start button for 30 seconds. Put all back together. The screen indicate CMOS reset. Now on startup I have 2 choices.
1. HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI
2. Please load operating system,
I used the BIOS to select USB for the ISO image and a fresh Windows 11 Pro.
I added 84Gb Optane memory overt a year ago. I also verified the Optane is present through the BIOS.
Bios V 1.24.0.0
OS Windows 11 Pro
