Product: 2310m Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using an older 2310m Monitor with my Desktop computer.   It has speakers and they work well.  It does not have a microphone that I can find.  Is there one or do I need to add one.   If so how?

There are a couple of different options regarding microphones.

 

Some use plugs that look similar to earphones and those plug into microphone jacks on your desktop, not on your monitor.  You would have to look at the front and back of your desktop to see if it has such a jack.

 

Others use USB cables, and once again, you would use a port on the front or back of your desktop, not on your monitor.
