Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've checked on my OMEN by HP 880-047c Desktop PC Z5P26AA to see if it will support windows 11 and it keeps taking my in a endless loop.  Does any one know if I can install windows 11 on this Pc?  Thanks in advance

Greetings @WDR3804

Your PC's specs can be reviewed Here.

The Intel i5-7400 does not appear to be supported on W11.

But @Paul_Tikkanen can provide W11 upgrade tips for your PC.

Your PC does not natively support any processors on Microsoft's minimum W11 Intel processor list.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'it keeps taking my in an endless loop.'

If W10 is running fine on your PC, see this video for how to easily do an in-place upgrade to W11.

If W10 is not running correctly and you want to clean install W11, the video author provides the steps to make a bootable USB recovery drive to bypass the W11 hardware requirements check.

You can download Rufus from the link below:

Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

You do not want to change the partition scheme to MBR in Rufus.

Leave it on GPT because your PC has a UEFI BIOS.

Instead of the old W10 preview file, use the latest version on the Microsoft website:
