My Opinion: The alert message is relevant even if the supporting "fix" is not yet available for the affected machines. I am not defending the practice, just offering a possible explanation.
Checking for:
"260" models found in the document (at this writing) include:
Business PCs and Retail Point-of-Sale systems
Product Name | Operating System | Updated Version | SoftPaq# | SoftPaq Link |
HP 260 G1 DM | Win7/8/8.1/10 32bit | P00TA1-B2F | SP95127 | Pending |
HP 260 G1 DM | Win7/8/8.1/10 64bit | P00T9L-B2H | SP95362 | Pending |
HP Slimline 260-axxx (ROM Family SSID 81B3) | Pending | Pending | Pending |
HP Slimline 260-axxx (ROM Family SSID 821D) | Pending | Pending | Pending |
HP Slimline 260-pxxx (ROM Family SSID 81B4) | Pending | Pending | Pending |
In general, when you are concerned about an alert, and that alert is relevant to your computer, keep checking back - documents are updated when new information is available.
You can also check your Software and Drivers Website Support - usually the website support is updated within a short time of an alert being issued.
Software and Drivers - HP Desktop - 260-a111na
Expand the entire list
Peruse the list and / or search for relevant updates or search by date
For example, at this writing, there are two drivers / software in the expanded list dated 2019:
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI
and
HP Support Assistant
The BIOS Updates are (again, at this writing) dated
81B3 = December 5, 2018
821D = November 18, 2018
