Why is there no BIOS Update for my computer? I have applications constantly closing on me and there is no reason for that to happen considering I have a lot of hard drive space free and I have a lot of available RAM.

There are BIOS updates under the W8.1 driver section.

I don't know what will happen if you run them in W10.  Probably not a good idea to do so.

Looking at the release notes for whichever BIOS update is applicable to your PC's specific BIOS family, it is highly unlikely that a BIOS update will resolve the problems you are experiencing.

I have installed that and it does not register in systems information. Also I have reinstalled windows 10 and I have windows which seem to mysteriously close and I'm not sure why

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know either.

You may want to try reinstalling W8.1 and see if you still have the same problems.

If you do, you can rule out W10 as the issue.

Before you go about doing that, download the free Macrium Reflect disk imaging software and make a system image of your PC's hard drive.  You would store the system image on a portable hard drive.

The utility will also have you make a bootable rescue USB or DVD that you boot from to access the system image you created to restore it to the hard drive.

As long as you can reinstall your files and programs, you can reinstall W8.1 by downloading the ISO file at the link below and use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable.

In order to boot from a DVD, you have to enable legacy mode and disable secure boot in the BIOS.

The reason I had win 8.1 was because I wanted 10 why would I go backwards that makes no sense

I thought I clearly explained the reason why I recommended you reinstall W8.1.

To see if you have the same issues on W8.1 that you are having now.

In any event, I have no other suggestions to offer.
