Hello everyone,
Good day to all of you.
I would like to ask maybe you could help me with my concern regarding my HP Prodesk 600 G2 SFF machine.
All of a sudden it didn't boot anymore. After the HP logo, it just stayed as blank/black screen.
I can still enter bios, checked my HDD-1 is still detectable.
I removed HDD-1 and replaced it with HDD-2, this HDD-2 came from another machine but same model, and using HDD-2 as prime OS works, booted up to desktop.
I tried placing HDD-1 to the machine of HDD-2 and still the same result, black/blank screen after HP logo.
I tried to put HDD-1 as slave to the machine of HDD-2(primary), and HDD-1 is detectable and I can access my files from HDD-1, but to make HDD-1 as prime OS, not possible.
Something logical problem with HDD-1 I would assume.
I have played around BIOS and I think I wasn't going anywhere.
I ran an extensive system test and here is what I got:
Hard Drive Optimized DST Check: FAILED
FAILURE ID: 9W7T1G-0007G1-X87T6J-61WP03
Would you require additional details, do let me know.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,

Hi
Failure code 307 - Hard Disk 1 Optimized
If the disk is readable, but cannot be booted then maybe it is missing a boot area.
So take backups of the Data and try to repair the disk from a USB or similar.
This may require another PC. Find and Download your .iso from…
(You will need a NON_OEM key for W7);
W8.x and W10 should activate automagically from their embedded licence key.

For when it’s a NON MS OS ( iOS / Linux ) creating the install media.

Expand/Extract/Burn the iso Image onto a DVD/USB as needed.
Microsoft’s Creator Tool will make the required DVD or USB.
Then you can try System Recovery Options / Advanced Options shown in the screenshots.
NB:- W7 Try running a Startup Repair more than once for a full fix.
NB: - W10 Begin with the Automatic Repair, then Startup Settings etc.
From either the C:\ or the X:\ prompt try the following
cd boot
bootrec /FixMBR
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /RebuildBCD
