Hello. I have this pc for a couple of years and it starts to get real slow on performance. My friends told me to format my pc. If i finally format my pc, will the extra software the pc has be deleted as well, and if it will be deleted can i downloaded afterwards?
Thanks in advance.

If this PC came with Windows 7 from the factory, then there should be a Recovery Partition to restore the PC to "factory fresh" by using the Recovery manager or the Recovery disk set. The "extra software" that was from the factory will be reinstalled but not any other software that was installed afterward. It would be wise to save any valuable data beforehand. Formatting will destroy all of the data and everything else, just to point out important information.
If you do not have the Recovery disk set and format, then you will need to reinstall the OS from an install disk for the Windows 7.
