I recently purchased a new HP Slim Desktop 260-a010 computer and have only had it a few days. To date, the majority of updates installed fine, but this one I'm asking about is being a problem. I have made 3 attempts to get it to install, with each attempt taking longer than 3 hours !! This is a ridiculous amount of time for something like this to complete it's installation !! What can be done to correct this problem?

Please check this link to update the bios:
If this update doesn't work, I would require more information. Let me know the error message.

Thank you for your help. This installed fine. Now, maybe you can tell me why I have to manually turn on and off my monitor when I start or shut down my computer? I've looked through everything I can to find a solution, but have been unsuccessful in doing so.

Hi!
Thanks for replying. I checked your post.
I see that your monitor needs to be manually powered on and off when you start or shut down the computer.
Please try to reset the monitor to original factory settings.
I will also send you a link to troubleshoot the monitor.
